What is a brand activation and how does it work?

A brand activation is a hands-on experience designed to create a direct, memorable connection between your audience and your brand. Rather than passive advertising, activations put people in the moment, doing something, making something, or engaging with your brand in a way they'll actually remember. Bearish designs and runs the entire experience for you, from concept through to pack-down.

How much do brand activations cost?

Pricing depends on the type of activation, guest numbers, location and duration. Reach out with your brief and we'll send a custom quote, usually within 24 hours.

How many guests can you cater for?

We've run activations for intimate groups of 20 right through to large-scale events with 2000+ attendees. Our stations are designed to scale, so whether it's a private birthday or a company-wide conference, the experience holds up.

Can you customise the activation to match our brand?

Yes, and it's one of our strengths. From branded packaging and custom colour palettes to co-branded signage and bespoke activity design, we tailor the experience to fit your campaign. Brands like TikTok, Steve Madden and Canva have trusted us to bring their identity into the activation itself.

How far in advance do I need to book?

For corporate events and large-scale activations, 3 to 4 weeks notice is ideal. For smaller private events, we can sometimes accommodate 1 to 2 weeks out depending on availability. The earlier you reach out, the more we can do with your brief.

Do you travel for interstate events?

We do. While Bearish is based in Sydney, we regularly take activations interstate for events in Melbourne, Brisbane and beyond. Travel and logistics costs are factored into your quote upfront so there are no surprises.

What types of events do you run activations for?

Corporate events, product launches, brand campaigns, university O-weeks, markets, festivals, private parties and everything in between. If you need people engaged and talking, there's an activation format that fits.

How long does a typical activation run for?

Most activations run between 2 and 8 hours depending on the event format. We handle setup and pack-down around your schedule, so your guests only ever see the good part.
